The COVID-19 pandemic has made the super-rich around the globe richer.
This is according to a study by consulting firm PwC and Swiss bank UBS, the DPA reports.
The analysis was published on Wednesday.
The total assets of more than 2,000 billionaires rose to $10.2trillion in July.
It surpassed the previous peak of $8.9trillion at the end of 2017.
Recovery of stock markets and investments in technology and healthcare increased the billionaires’ fortunes.
Currently, 2,189 men and women in 43 countries are worth more than $1billion each.
In Germany, the number of billionaires grew from 114 to 119.
