The appointment of the new Vice Chancellor has generated a lot of controversy in the last couple of weeks.
Our correspondent however gathered that the security agents have been deployed to the Trenchard Hall, venue of the announcement of the candidate for the Senate/Selection Board for the incoming VC.
DAILY POST gathered that members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and Non-Academic Staff of Universities have mobilised to the venue of the announcement.
A senior staff of the institution told DAILY POST that the security agents are threatening to shot any staff that intends to distrupt the process.
“The VC has invited soldiers to the Trenchard hall to manage the election.
“SSANU and NASU have mobilized to the place and it is now rowdy. The soldiers are threatening to shoot the staff.
