The Cross River State Governor, Prof Ben Ayade has urged the former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) to take solace in Christ over the death of his wife.
Prof Ayade said this on Tuesday while paying a condolence visit to the former Senate Leader to commiserate with him over her demise.
Amaka Ndoma-Egba died about two weeks ago in a ghastly motor accident in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
In a press release made available to DAILY POST on Tuesday, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ayade, Christian Ita said no one could question the actions of God.
Gov Ayade who expressed shock over the unexpected passing of Amaka also said “she has left an eternal vacuum in the hearts of many.
“I just can’t believe this story. Death is a shame. It goes for the unripe fruits. Rest in peace, Rest, for your gentle soul does not deserve this sinful world”, Ayade, Amaka’s death, although very painful to us mortals, is a plus in heaven” he stated.
Responding, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba thanked Ayade for grieving with him over the loss of his wife, Amaka.
Ndoma-Egba, who is visibly agonised over the sudden demise of his wife said: “she is irreplaceable.”
