Rumors that John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu is down with stroke, was put to grave prematurely by the actor few hours after the rumors started flying online.
The fake report surfaced yesterday claiming that the actor, who is famous for his role as Mr. Ibu, suffered the health condition shortly after he returned from a trip to Owerri.
Speaking about the alleged illness, Actors Guild of Nigeria’s President, Emeka Rollas, said that the Enugu State-born actor was fast recovering from the ailment.
But Okafor has dismissed it as unkind rumours in a video shared by his wife, and even chastised those who shared it on social media, adding, “I forgive you.”
“People are saying that I have stroke, that I am down [with] stroke. Why?” he said, adding, “I don’t have any stroke, please. I forgive you(sic).”
