Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, in company of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel commission will on Friday, commission the recently instructed Osokwa-Aro Umuejie-Omoba Road which transverses Osisioma and Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Areas of the state.
The Abia Government announced this in a release made available to DAILY POST on Tuesday night by the State Commissioner of Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu.
He said the yet to be commissioned roads was in continuation of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led administration kinetic Abia project inspection and commissioning programme.
The release stated that Governor Ikpeazu invites “the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, and members of the state executive council.
“Member representing Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Solomon Adaelu.
“Member representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Darlington Nwokocha.
“Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Enyinnaya Orji, and members of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly.
“Members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) led by Hon. Michael Ibe.
“State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere.
“Members of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers led by HRM Eze Joseph Nwabekee.
“State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Apostle Emma Agumuo and Bishop Sunday Onuoha.
