Dignitaries from the length and breadth of Ogun State, Saturday converged on Abeokuta, the state capital, for the 20th Omo Olowu festival.
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, represented by his wife, Mrs Bola Obasanjo; Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State; former Governor of Ogun, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) were among the personalities who joined the Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosumu, to celebrate the cultural festival, held at Oba Odeleye Park, Oke-Sokori.
A former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, who is the Senior Special Adviser to Gov Abiodun also joined other government functionaries at the annual event.
The event also had in attendance, traditional rulers from all walks of lives, joining Owu indigenes to celebrate the historic festival.
