President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday departed Nigeria for Saudi Arabia.
Buhari departed Nigeria from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and was disclosed by his Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie via her Twitter handle.
According to Onochie: “President @MBuhari departs for an official trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), to attend the Economic Forum of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh. Safe Journey Mr. President.”
Buhari, who recently returned from a three-day trip to Russia will attend the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative, FII.
Garba Shehu, the President’s spokesman who disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, said that the event was organised by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund, PIF.
