The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, has expressed dissatisfaction at the inability of the Legislative and Judicial arms of government in meeting up with the task of implementing the Executive Order of President Muhammadu Buhari on financial autonomy to both arms of government.
DAILY POST reports that the Speaker stated this during the plenary on the Floor of the House yesterday.
According to him, the two arms of government have failed in their primary responsibilities of effectively implementing Sections 121 and 123 of the Nigerian Constitution.
He disclosed that the Judiciary did not support the legislative arm of government in implementing the autonomy.
This, according to him, has made the implementation of this Executive Order to be almost of non-effect on these two arms of government.
