The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party Tuesday approved the nomination of the Governors of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to Co-Chair the newly constituted campaign council for Imo bye-election.
The Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement he signed late Tuesday titled ‘PDP constitutes campaign council for Imo bye-elections.’
The statement read in part, “The National Working Committee of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party has approved the nomination of the following party members as members of the National Campaign Council/Election Management Team for the Ngor Okpala State Constituency Bye-election scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Imo State.”
Members of the committee include, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu as Chairman, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as Co-Chairman, Achike Udenwa, Emeka Ihedioha, Enyinnaya Abaribe, Samuel Anyanwu, Dr Alex Obi, Dr Kema Achikwe, Onyebuchi Francis, Obinna Ogba, Chukwuka Onyema, Eke Uchenna, Chinedu Martins, Nwawuba Ndochukwu, Alagboso Jerry, Elezieanya Onyechere, Solomon Anukam, Philip Ejiogu, Allwel Okere, Okoroafor Okorie, Augustine Nnamani, Charles Ugwu and Dr Ali Odefa as Secretary.
“The Directorate of Organization and Mobilization shall serve as the Secretariat for the Council,” Ologunagba said.
