The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has lauded the Accord Party candidate for the July 16 Osun State governorship poll, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, for his humility.
The royal father spoke when he received Ogunbiyi and his campaign team in his palace in Ile-Ife on Monday.
Oba Ogunwusi, while praying for the governorship candidate, said the insurance magnate “is humble, capable, knowledgeable and blessed by God.
“God loves you so much. Look at the time you came out to say you are contesting the election and look at what God is doing for you. I am proud of you and I am happy with what you have done so far.”
In a statement issued by his Media Office on Monday, Ogunbiyi berated the current government for leading what he called a “failed and lazy” approach to governance
He said it was unfortunate that the current administration could not turn the state’s economic resources into wealth.
