Bayern Munich are looking at getting Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi on loan before the transfer deadline this season.
According to German’s Kicker Magazine, the Nigerian international is open to the move.
In an article published on the website of Germany’s preeminent footballing publication on Sunday, German journalist Georg Holzner claims that the Bayern front is currently working in conjunction with Leicester City over a potential loan-out for Ndidi.
The endless discussion over Bayern trainer Thomas Tuchel’s desired “holding six” midfielder looks to continue right up until the transfer deadline next week.
“The much-sought-after 51-times-capped Nigerian international is expected to depart on a free this summer after his current contract expires. Leicester, in fact, cannot loan the 26-year-old out unless he extends his current working papers.
Holzner also wrote that Bayern are interested in obtaining Ndidi under such circumstances and cited his own internal sources to claim that a move could be in the works.
