Could you tell us about your educational background?
We attended Marvelous Nursery and Primary School, in Ibadan, Oyo State, and from there, we moved to the Bishop Philip Academy Secondary School, also in Ibadan.
We later proceeded to Idi-Ito High School, and our tertiary education was at the Oke Ogun Polytechnic in Saki, also in Oyo State.
I studied Accountancy, while my twin brother studied Public Administration.
How did you become a gospel music artiste?
We discovered our talent when we both joined the church choir. Later on, we had God’s leading to move on to the gospel music industry and we are still moving on.
What were the challenges you faced in the music industry?
We faced a lot of challenges for being gospel musicians and the fact that we came from a Muslim background. At first, we had limited visibility but now we are surprised at the attention.
Back then, it took a firm resolve for us to keep going but for every challenge that comes our way, God always gave us victory.
Was your family in support of your decision to go into music?
No, they did not support us initially. But now, they are proud of us and that gives us joy.

To be sincere, yes. At one point, we wanted to port to secular music, but we are still here and standing strong.

Stardom has been good to us. It has opened a lot of doors and taken us to places, and it will keep opening doors for us by God’s grace.

It is a good thing to have fans all over, especially females. Whenever they approach us, we greet them with smiles because there is nothing to be arrogant about stardom. Both men and women appreciate our work and we love and respect all our fans.
