Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Kiddwaya has shared that he wouldn’t be celebrating his birthday this year.
Sharing via his multiple social pages online the reality TV star shared that he wouldn’t be celebrating his birthday because of his close friend who died in a helicopter crash.
Recall that the CEO of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son, Chizi Wigwe had lost their life on the 9th of January to a helicopter crash in the United States.
The incident was affected by the majority and the deceased were laid to rest by their loved ones, friends, and colleagues yesterday.
Kiddwaya who happens to be friends with the late Chizi Wigwe decided to cancel his birthday, which was yesterday, to honor his late friend.
The writing on the flier he shared online read;
“It is with heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of my friend and the victims who have tragically left us. I have made the decision to forgo celebrating my birthday today. Instead, I choose to honour Chizi’s memory and the impact he had on each of us.”
Upon seeing this, fans and colleagues of the entertainer trooped to his comment section to comfort him with soothing words.
