Ganduje also urged Muslims to imbibe the lessons and sacrifices of Ramadan in their day-to-day life.
This was disclosed in an Eid-el-Fitr message issued in Abuja by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu.
While admitting reforms often come with its attendant teething problems, the former Kano State governor urged Nigerians to give the President the benefit of the doubt to lead the country to the promised land.
He said, “I’m calling on all Nigerians irrespective of party affiliations to support our dear President. All discerning minds can attest to the fact that President Tinubu has taken some drastic measures to reposition our economy which has started paying. All we need now is to support the federal government to transform the country“
Continuing, Ganduje appealed that the 30 days of spiritual cleansing and its inherent lessons should not be wished away as they strive to rebuild the nation together.
He also urged for continued prayer for the President from the Muslim ummah.
“Ramadan is indeed a month of patience, in it, we fast for the sake of Allah by enduring hunger, and thirst, extending love to all especially the less privileged in the society,” he said.
