The Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce (NSACC) hosted its July breakfast meeting on July 18, 2024, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, with a view to strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring opportunities for economic cooperation and trade relations between Nigeria and South Africa.
The event, sponsored by South African Airways, marked a dual celebration: SAA’s 90th anniversary and the continued strengthening of South Africa-Nigeria relations brought together stakeholders from both nations to explore opportunities for economic cooperation and address the challenges facing bilateral relations.

Also, he highlighted the need to address social and political dynamics influencing bilateral ties and encouraged collaboration in education, technology, and innovation.
In his part, Professor Bobby L. Moroe, Consul-General of South Africa to Nigeria, who delivered the keynote address, stressed the importance of breaking down stereotypes and promoting understanding, cooperation, and dialogue to improve relations between South Africans and Nigerians.
Kemi Leke-Bamtefa, Country Manager of South Africa Airways in Nigeria, highlighted in her summation the airline’s extensive network beyond South Africa, with codeshare partners and alliances that enable seamless travel to various destinations.
