Nigerian singer Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has revealed on a podcast that he once spent about £1,000, roughly ₦1.2 million, on weed every day.
The singer said he hired two people to roll it for him and paid them for the service.
According to Bella Shmurda, he eventually stopped smoking after realising that the habit was affecting his music career and he could no longer record songs.
“I stopped when I realized I couldn’t even record songs anymore.”
